Welcome to Tree Pose Yoga and Wellness.
My passions for health and wellness runs deep. As a child I was diagnosed ADHD, and quickly learned the connection between what foods I ate and how I felt. My passions continued to grow, as a teenager I began my path to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist. I grew my practice as an RMT where I specialized in Pre and Post natal massage, Infant massage, Rehabilitative Massage, and Functional Strength and Stretching. After practicing for 13 years, I decided to work from home and raise my three boys. While at home I continued to take classes on nutrition, wrote a blog with healthy living recipes, and became determined that once my boys were all in school full-time I would go back to school to join the fitness profession. After Completing my certification as a personal trainer I worked with clients, and managed a large corporate gym. I began to see that the relationship between our mental, spiritual and physical health was directly linked. I started to practice meditation, and deepened my personal spiritual journey with yoga. I began to notice the shift in my own ability to face difficult situations, and how what I was learning could greatly affect the success of my clients as well. Yoga became a passion I had to pursue deeper. I was blessed to find an amazing group of women who were looking to deepen their yoga knowledge, and together we did our YTT Certifications. During my 200 hour yoga teacher training, I decided that It was my goal to make health, wellness and fitness accessible to everyone, from all walks of life. And Tree Pose Yoga and Wellness was created.
